Long Weekend

I’m leaving tomorrow at noon for one of my all-time favorite places… Whistler! 12 of us are heading up for 2 days of glorious skiing and 3 nights of glorious hot-tubbing. Skiing at Whistler isn’t about skiing the hardest runs you’ve seen in your life or seeing how fast you can barrel down the slopes. It is about enjoying the scenery, spending time with friends, and laughing when someone (me) makes a face plant right in the middle of the Saddle.

Only down side it is it going to be FREEZING up there. Seriously. There is an artic chill coming in and we are talking temps below zero (yes, Fahrenheit zero) up on the mountain. Brrr!

I’m still beyond excited though. Now if only I could shake this sore throat!
