I woke up at the butt crack of dawn on my first day of vacation. We arrived at Ocean Shores bright and early for the sand sculpting competition. After it was all said and done, getting up so early (and the sunburn on my feet - I missed a big spot) was worth it when we took home 1st place (and $300!). We built a North Pole scene - igloo, eskimo fishing, and a couple of penguins.

I LOVE that festival. We used to go every year when I was little.
