Do Babies Happen in 3-s?

If so, someone I know is going to announce a pregnancy soon… and the trend seems to be best friend’s sisters. Let this serve as a warning to JQ and KT’s younger sisters – be careful :) Jules’ sister announced she was pregnant over Christmas dinner. k2’s sister did the same. Both are due in August. How much fun!?!

k2’s sister is my age (they are twins) and I just learned she was diagnosed with HPV and cervical cancer. She has been in the clear for about 6 months but the doctor told her it will come back (I’m not sure if he means just the HPV or the cancer too) so if she wants to have children now is a good time. Ideally, she would have wanted to wait but both her and her husband have good jobs and just bought a new house so it is not like they aren’t ready to bring a baby into the world.

The whole HPV and cervical cancer thing is scary. She is so young and it is just a wakeup call that bad things can happen to anyone. It is time for my yearly exam and this is just a little kick to get on the ball and make a doctor’s appointment.
