30

I visited my 30th state this weekend, West Virginia. A college roommate got married in Wheeling this weekend and all “my girls” descended upon the Mountain State to help her celebrate.

All 5 of my college roommates and 2 other good friends spent the weekend at Oglebay Park. We spent a lot time catching up, lounging by the pool and eating. The wedding was great. It was a perfect day – not a cloud in the sky, almost hot, but not at all muggy. It wasn’t even sad to say goodbye because I’ll see everybody again in NY for another wedding in 5 weeks.

Only downside to the whole weekend was the amount of travel it involved. My flight connected in Dallas, meaning close to 20 hours in airports and on planes. Yuck!

Weddings are so fun! I'm flying home for one in a few days - can't wait! That does suck that you had to spend so much time in the airport/plane, though.

Sounds like you had a great time. My experience was very similar with one of my college roommates getting married. It's always fun to have a free weekend to party with some great people!!!
